I remember the Winter Sonata craze from a few years back! BBC News even reported it!!! lol!

I initially resisted the idea of watching it cos i took one look at bae yong jun and waa turned off (rofl...)! he just looked so girly and those glasses and that hair and yuck! and he does look like harry potter! but after hearing my normally reserved mum squeeing about it, i cracked and watched it...

erm, it's made me want to go the korea and visit the places they filmed at cos it looks so beautiful, the snlw, trees, lake, etc. it made me cry buckets! it had the men decked out in stupid scarfs tied in stupid ways that made my scream!!! but ultimately, i still thought yes the woman can cry, yes it's sad... yes, the produces consulted the handbook to making a tear-jerker drama, but, i still don't see what the fuss about BYJ is!!! so there! :)

hotelier is a bit better cos he has no glasses and short hair...hmm, might do a re-watch soon actually!

ReL BYJ. LOL. I think he looked attractive in Hotelier (what little I've seen) but his WS look wasn't my thing either. He looked yummy with long hair and glasses in b&w pics alexandral posted, though :)

Winter Sonata seemed so famous, that I thought of watching it, but wheeew, d-addicts relieved me of that idea. A bunch of people there ranked it as basically the worst drama ever, being boring and draggy. But still, it must have been so popular for a reason...
