Drama and manga glee

Will shortly be going to see Amitabh/Tabu movie Cheeni Kum. Yay.

I have also started yet another drama. I know, I know, but both Lovers and Return of the Condor Heroes are serious and angsty and I need something light to balance it out. And plus, I want a Lee Wan (the super awesome mobster in Tree of Heaven) fix.

Ergo, Snow White (otherwise known as Taste Sweet Love).

SW's heroine is a ugly duckling who has crushed on her guy friend for ages, with no effect, but with no ability to stop. So when the object of her affection asks her to put up his kid brother at her place for a time, she cannot say no, however unappealing she finds the prospect.

Th kid brother? Is irresistably free-spirited goof played by the awesome Lee Wan. To her horror, our heroine finds herself falling for the man who is not only younger than her, but is also her crush object's sibling.

Heeee.

This super adorable OTP music vid captures the fun and the awesomeness:

In other news, I have finished volume 1 of Night of the Beasts manga. It reminds me a bit of Ayashi No Ceres (in both style and substance) which, considering AnC is my favorite ever manga, is not a bad thing. I can't see how it can end well.

I also bought volume 9 of Ouran High School Host Club. Love love love that manga. Does anyone else think Jiro Wang would be perfect to play Tamaki in live action adaptation?
