Stained Glass SOS

May 29, 2007 22:46

My Stained Glass DVDs died in the last 10 mins of the last ep (18).

Argh!

I haven't watched the drama yet but wanted to see how it ends. So, please please spoil me. I want to know if it's worth getting a replacement.

I had to exchange my dvds because they sent me two dvds of the same episodes instead of chronological order and then the audio was off - it was this entire big drama thing and I ended up giving neutral feedback (I should have been more negative, oh well. Okay, if you really want to know: Not Rain guy dies, and LDG and our girl heroine realize that though they desperately love each other, it wouldn't be right to get married in the wake of their friend's death, and make a promise to each other to come back to Korea after (10?) years pass, and if they still love each other, to get married.

Oh, that's actually hopeful by kdrama standards. So I don't mind it at all (I was afraid of some horrible disaster). So must watch.

But why 10 years? Should have made it a few months. Not!Rain is made to lose women to leads :)

I think the 10 years was meant to represent the same length of time she thought LDG's character was "dead" (lost to them.) It kind of comes full-circle like that.

Although.

That ending was pretty sucky. For me, at least. :)

That makes sense. Still, I want my HEA. Well, at least they didn't freeze together in the snow.

LDG and KHN separate; If I remember correctly the last scene takes place at the airport. Bah.
The other guy (I forgot his character's name) kills himself, but all they show is his floating hat or jacket. I can't remember, but no body is shown. Some people speculated he didn't really die, he just took off so his friends would get together, but... they don't.

Thanks! Well, it's open ended so I am OK with that (I mean, I might not like it for story reasons or what not, but what I was afraid of is another Tree of Heaven or IJUKSA where I agreed with the outcome story wise but it broke my heart).

Let's hope they get back together later :)
