Well, keep in mind I've only read the first few volumes, and I seem to recall a LOT of it...when I stopped reading was when his brother(mind controlled, i think) made off with her. granted, it's possible that there was just too much of it in several manga i was reading at the time(one of the best was to get me to drop a manga is to start relying on whether or not they should have sex as opposed to actual plot) and red river is the only one i actually remember(which actually means that I LIKED it but just got annoyed with it...most manga i drop i forget about unless i see it or it's mentioned)

but, keep saying "functional" every chance you get and you'll likely win me over
