"I am curious how they are going to keep it up for multiple eps though."
The way I see this going is that there are multiple people playing this game at the same time. If that's so, there could be various levels in the competition where if you win against your current opponent, then you get to move on to the next level and face someone new.
I definitely did the Kurosagi comparing thing, and while i feel like there are a lot of similarities, I think that they may turn out to be pretty different. And yes, while I do want Toda Erika and Matsuda Shota to make out for the next 10 eps, I think that they'll be doing more "rounds" of the game. The way that the instructions were phrased made me think that the winner would then advance to the next round. But making out is fine by me as well.
That's true, the set up does seem to be different and so do the personalities of the leads. Matsuda Shota is a lot more 'together' and unscrewed up and Nao is a lot more 'sweet' and 'dumb' than the leads in Kurosagi. I do like it though.
I haven't seen it yet but I'm not sure reading this makes me want to watch it more. I've only seen first two eps of Kurosagi and was planning on finishing but all these Spring doramas are distracting me! I've noticed other people are saying how it's inferior Kurosagi as well. Umm, hopefully the plot will get better though we could use to drop a drama or two, eh? lol :P I'll have to check this out later this week though. Is it wrong I'm hoping there would be a scene of him on motorcycle since i miss that. *sigh* Once in awhile I get some Hanadan withdrawals.
Oh, I liked the plot OK. I am not big on mysteries/puzzles so the holes in the schemes don't bug me. I basically watch for people interactions and they are awesome here.
I just finished! I think the plot concept is pretty interesting though I also wonder how they are going to keep this up for remaining episodes. I'm so glad I didn't want to kill Erika since I couldn't stand her in Hanadan. You're right though does feel a lot like poor man's Kurosagi. Yeah, the plot holes are quite huge and doesn't take much thought to figure out the swindle schemes. I'm still curious of how this will carry out and hopefully how they develop (i want kissing too!). It was just nice to see Shota again! It was funny I remember some words and the way he said it in Hanadan was same as in LG and I really had strange flashback. I hope this is coherent since I'm up way too late for it to be. XD
Oh I will so be watching this. I was going to skip it but now that I know Matsuda Shota is in it I will def be watching it. LOL for the 'terminal cancer' thing. So kdrama-esque...although lots of Japanese dramas have characters with random terminal illnesses. Somehow twdramas seem void of them:P
Can't wait to see this once I get home from work, since most of my time last night was spent waiting for download links to appear and then to finish the downloads of LG and ProDai both.
I did peek a bit at The Liar Game, and Matsuda Shota looks great in it :).
*checks LoveSong forums* No, there's no word on the subs yet. LoveSong did an excellent job with Byakkotai (and it seems they subbed Kurosagi, too), but the subs did take a while.
