Snow Queen, eps 1 and 2

I am not watching anything else until I finish you.

Wow. I am about twenty minutes into the second ep and I literally had to force myself to stop because I had to leave. I kept going ‘but one more minute, one more minute.’

And this brings me to Tae-Woong. Oh my. He really might be the gentlest drama hero I’ve come across, you know? And I think he might replace Gong-Chan from My Girl as my dorama boyfriend.

He is definitely my favourite dorama boyfriend at the moment. Of course there is Bog-ku as well (they share, really), but if I was a young girl and had to choose with whome I am going out, it would have been definitely TW. And I really think that Hyun Bin is a very good actor too. As much as I liked Gong-Chan, I don't think the acting was that good (and especially not in "Hanoi Bride")

I love that he might be a gentle guy, but he is no weakling, no push-over.

And isn't he on top of all that so GOOD-LOOKING???

I thought LDW did just fine as Gong-Chan in My Girl but it was a very differently written drama and a very different role. I don't think it would have worked to have him act in the way Hyun Bin did as TW or vice versa (I thought Hanoi Bride was OK acting wise from everyone though nothing to write home about).

I love Bok-Gu but I prefer even my drama boyfriends to be nice and well-adjusted hence...:)

Heeee. I didn't find him so in what little I saw of KSS (he looked nice but no jaw-droppingly gorgeous) but here? OMG.

Oh my, I actually prefer Hyun Bin's looks in KSS (only a little, because I just like his looks!!). How much of it did you watch??? I thought it was truly quite brilliant, it is among my favourite 5 for sure!!!

I basically saw the beginning and the ending. And a lot of caps.

I thought he was nice looking but not something to make me stop and stare, the way he looks in SQ makes me want to do.

KSS seems cute enough as a drama, but I just can't work up too much enthusiasm for it, somehow. (Heee, maybe I am too young :D) Also, I am a bit burned out on older woman-younger man romances for a time.

I am taken aback by how luminous this drama is. I don’t know what filters they used, but the light simply shines, pure and early morning, throughout

I just wanted to mention that in the article in the subs forum there is something about how the creators wanted to incorporate a different approach in "The Snow Queen" . I think this definitely shows. (http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic_17098.htm)

And you said you couldn't put to words how you felt about SQ! I really loved everything you wrote :)

I really love Bo-Ra's character too. Her bitchiness never bothered me. I think in other dramas where there is this sort of character I tend to get annoyed by them. I think because you can see there's more to Bo-Ra. Her bitchiness is just her shield, under that shes very vulnerable and lonely.

Yes, Bo ra really does have this loveliness (inner too) however she tries to hide it. I love her.

And Tae-Woong? I have no words for how much I love him.

I know! They're really wonderful/lovely :) I hope you'll watch more of it soon and post some more about it too :D (I need to try to stop my urge of rewatching this with you)

Don't fight the urge! I just finished ep 2 and a bit of 3 and wow, just wow.

Though the thing is making me cry like clockwork.
