first of all, Wincest scares me and weirds me out almost as much as it probably does Sam and Dean

And there's no reason to fear the special place with Shinkumi...just tell yourself it's a student crushing on his young-ish teacher who likely would reciprocate if they met again several years later.

I can't wait for you to watch Kimi.

Re: Shinkumi. But:

a. See what it led me to. Aka Forbidden Love, one of my top 5 jdramas. Where the student and teacher are THE otp who fight the world.

b. I wanted them to get it on, like, yesterday :D

Kimi Wa Petto is for tomorrow most likely.

I am on a jdrama kick lately and it's really hard to switch between them and kdramas because of different vibe and pace. Though if I get my Snow Queen or Hello My Teacher in the mail on Monday, all bets are off.

I'm like you, I RARELY go for non-canon pairings...I mean, there are ones that I'd kinda like to see but don't really ship-like, I'd love to see Mac and Weevil hook up in VM, but it's not like I have any emotional stake in that or will hate anyone else either sees cuz it's not what I want or I want to declare them the be all end all, it's just something I think would be cute. But I can largely get people who do that. But when they want to pair het characters in non-het ships(or one het and one non het) I just completely don't get it. Which is why 99% of amine and manga fangirls in the US are a complete mystery to me. But yeah, that's about my opnion on Wincest. Though I was amused when someone thought that in season one and they were "uhm...uh...yeah...we'll just...go with that ( ... )

Well, I'm another fan of Supernatural who is definitely not into Wincest. Eeuw! I like them just fine as just very close brothers, thank you very much.

I just tried downloading an avi file of ep 2 of Hanadan2 in the hope that it would work (though I knew it probably wouldn't), and I was right :(. Stupid computer can't play avis. HMPF! Ah well, I will have to check the series on youtube.

I have to admit I don't mind the whole cest thing too much ... as long as it doesn't involve rape, force or abuse. If it is consential (sp?) ppl can think or do anything they like. BUT! Having said that, some parts of the OVA as well as the anime to I'm In Love With My Little Sister are a bit touchy and even I felt uncomfy watching/reading it.
You know I have been toying with the idea of posting about this very topic in my LJ for weeks now as some of my favourite dramas revolve around cest (totally coincidental btw). I'm still not sure if I should write it up or not :s

i was about to post something about jun too!! >< its all his fault for me too, heh. my first drama was gokusen, which i downloaded because i was already in love with the manga (and the anime -- shin/yankumi is my curret ultimate otp). after that, i just kept watching and watching. and when i found out he was going to play domyouji? i flew over to cloud 9.

oh! i don't slash th winchesters either. like i said, incest squicks me. :p
