I have (courtesy of meganbmoore's mentions of the manga) have become really hooked on an anime for the first time since a few months ago, when I was mainlining Ouran High School Host Club.
It is love.
Wallflower (or Perfect Girl Evolution or Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge) is a shoujo anime based on a manga of the same name. Sunako is a girl who's been shunned by her first love and as a result decided to shun all forms of beauty. She is now a super slovenly, super bizarro recluse. Which is where the four heroes come in. Kyoubei, Ranmaru, Takenaga and Yuki are super popular and very well groomed, they are also broke college students. Sunako's aunt offers them an irresistable deal: transform her wayward niece into a pretty, normal girl, and they can live in a giant palace of a house almost for free. And so begins the awesome, madcap story.
