Magicians of Love: Hairdressers in Lurve

Dec 21, 2006 12:16

Magicians of Love continues to be amazing. I have to admire it for sheer refusal to adhere to reality. Most dramas take place in real world, however farfetched. This one? Is not hindered by that requirement and thus rocks mightily ( Read more... )

Richie owns me. Seriously. Also he has the best crying scene EVER.
I like Ya Si too, and I changed sides about A BAZILLION TIMES.
Richie broke my heart though.. so in the end I finally settled for him. But poo.

The actress reminds me of Rainie Yang. They both have that "I look like I'm 15 and cute" thing going on.

Fernando pisses me off and his boots REALLY scare me!

OMG! Icon!

I haven't gotten to Richie is awesome scenes yet but I do like him a lot. He seems quiet and really really decent and cool. But I am a Yasi fangirl because he is my fictional type with the snotty and the emo so am rooting for him.

Heeeee. Definitely.

LOL. Forget the boots. I am still recovering from the shirt/pants combo. Does he end up with someone at the end? Spoil meeeeee....

Yay, off to look at icons.

The outfits scare me. Or it is scar me.

He ends up with evil bitchy model? Poor guy, not even he deserves such a fate.

MoL sounds so cracky... maybe I should pick it up again... hmmm.

Apparently the drama makers thought it was as noteworthy as I did, as they show the shot in slomo four times

ROFL. I love it when they do that! It cracks me up so bad in Smile Pasta; sometimes it's three angles, sometimes five, and occurs whenever someone walks away from someone else/walks out of the room/runs towards their beloved's embrace. I count in my head and thus can discern the importance of that moment depending on the number of close-ups it got.

The thing with MoL, I love it to bits but I can totally see why people would roll their eyes or even hate it. It's crack and you have to be in a certain frame of mind to enjoy it :D

Awwww, I am still behind in SP. I am only on ep 4 or 5. I don't like watching thigns on my comp so it always takes me much longer to finish a series that way unless I really am obsessed. But He Qun is a total darling.

That moment in MoL must have been crucial, what with the slo mo overdose :)

*wants DVDs here NOW!* But I know they probably won't get here before next year since they were only sent from the US yesterday :P.

This sounds just cracky enough that I'll totally enjoy myself while watching it *g*. Actually I would have loved DBY to have stayed as cracky as the first episodes throughout the series and thought it watered down a bit towards the end.

Never fear, I am 5 eps in, and this is pretty cracktastic so far and shows no signs of slowing down.

But you have to watch ISWAK first. *tempts with icon*
