Bill is the eldest Weasley brother, who plays a somewhat prominent role in the 6th book (he is a member of the order of the phoenix which is Dumbledore's anti Vodlie group). Throughout the book he is engaged to Fleur Delacour (I don't know if you saw the fourth movie, but she is the really beautiful (in the book, not the movie :P) tournament champion) and, near the end of the book, Bill has been werewolf attacked and went from rock-star lookin' hottie to severely scarred and non-cute.
In one of my favorite HP bits, everyone assumes Fleur would totally ditch him but she can't even comprehend that they would believe that and utters one of my fave HP lines: "I am beautiful enough for both of us, I think." *shippy squee. B/F are one of my rare HP ships*
I am just amusedly horrified that they took two characters who are one of the few to have an explicit ship in HP and made it into this bizarreness.
ah. Yeah, I've never really got the need to butcher canon 'ships unless one is a near-universally acknowledged pain. And I've never understood the need to make straight characters gay...
I thought Fleur was who I was thinking of. Not much of an impression in the movie, but the book version sounds like Cordy from Buffy.

I needed a good laugh before I went to bed, so thank you. :-) The SW fanfics sound particularly scary, although I'm hoping that's just because their authors are still in middle school.
Natalie, a fifteenyearold Earth girl, finds out she is a jedi. She is, basically, living her Earth life. She has to cope with boys, school work, peer pressure, and even Count Dooku!
Natalie's To Do List: 1. Finish algebra homework & study for tomorrow's quiz 2. Read next two chapters in Shakespeare's Hamlet 3. Remember to bring pom-poms for cheerleading tryouts tomorrow 4. Battle Count Dooku to the death in a duel that may alter the balance of the Force 5. Call Mary Sue & ask her if Bobby likes me
I had missed your badfics reviews! ;) My favorite is that one with Fleur/Harry/Bill. Oh my. I'm still trying to figure out how people can write this stuff let alone put them online... :o

ROFL. Reality and ff.net. Not exactly coexistent.
