Sang-Doo, Let's Go to School is wonderful. Heck, I have a nasty fever and I am still loving it. Sang Doo and Eun-hwan are such an OTP but I don't see it ever ending well, not with their baggage. The dorama is still funny (it has very funny bits) but it's getting darker and angstier and more romantic and that is how I like it. Ep 3 was what turned ( Read more... )

I must say I am really torn about this. You wouldn't laugh, right? "Smiling pasta" as a title totally tips me over the edge and makes me want to run away fast. :)

Nah, wouldn't laugh.

The title actually has a point. The heroine's family runs a pasta restaurant. And one of their specialties is 'smiling pasta' which they say if you taste you are going to smile. Which is one of those ad gimmicks I think :)

This show is very tongue in cheek and it knows it's cheesy but it's totally fun.

I just read your writing on Sang-Doo - sounds really interesting. Gigolo (Rain!!!!) goes to school - I am sure to watch this!!!

OMG. I just cracked up when you mentioned about fanservice. Yes yes yes I totally agree! That scene when he took a shower was like *I love love love this serial*

I think Rain had a better chance to express various nuances in Sang Doo than Full House or ALTK. I read somewhere too, that in RL (after the show ended) Rain and Gong Hyo-Jin became quite close ;) But we never hear much gossip around Rain, do we???

I didn't know that aboout Rain and GHJ. Yeah, there isn't any gossip about Rain except the fact that he is a huge workaholic :)

Are you still following Smiling Pasta? It's only subbed up to episode 13 as far as I know. If anyone knows where to find the rest of it with subs, it would be much appreciated... :).
