Awwww, I'm so glad you liked the ending. It was heartrending, and I thought the very end was too abrupt, but so sweet and lovely. I love how she woke up, and he acknowledged it, but didn't freak out - instead he just cuddled her and stayed there with her quietly. Soooo beautiful and peaceful. I still get choked up just thinking about that.
You have no idea how brain-dead I am today from the MnJ marathon or what time I went to bed.
The ending WAS too abrupt, I would have liked more (once again, it reminded me of Bollywood where sometimes they cut the ending really quickly). But I was just so relieved she woke up and I loved how tender yet low-key it was...
I am keen to see Don after the trailer but I am not sure on Kabul Express. I do not have the John Abraham love - the first thing I really liked him in was Water.
KANK is up on you tube, most of it, at any rate if you want to look at the angst once more: not subtitled though. Not that I went looking or anything. I am still thinking through some of the film, especially the damage that gets done in Maya and Dev's wake and how culpable they are or aren't. There's no intention on their part to end up in bed, and though that doesn't make it any less a betrayal, of course, it does make them more forgiveable because what they are seeking in each other is something to help them be more what their partners want and need. The first time they do anything erotic at all is when they are play acting how they should behave towards Rishi and Rhea, where they are remaking themselves to fit into these failing relationships.

Oh yes. And what a funny scene that is but what struck me about it most is how comfortable they are with each other. So much more than with their spouses.
I think that scene is both funny and horrible at the same timne, because there's these two people desparately trying to remake themselves and it's not going to work and never will work...but they're trying to pretend it will. *sniffle*

"(Heeee. Cure for frigidity? Wet naked SRK in bed with you, it seems)"
see what you have done to me now, I am giggling like a school girl:D
on a serious note, there is strong reactions towards KANK in India, there is no middle ground, some hate it , and others love it, and my thinking is , that in traditional societies( which I am from one), when the mirror is put infront of people's face and they don't like what they see, they hate the mirror not the image.
Trailers: DON all the way baby!! who ever coined the phrase Sex on legs to describe SRK....I love you!!! Kabul express though will be my second favorite one, looks really interesting. D2: pfft!

And re: KANK. I think it's a flawed movie, but so thought-provoking and pretty I don't care.
