One of my most anticipated movies of the year is Omkara, an Indian (it's really not Bollywood at all) take on Othello. I do wonder if Ajay will ever play a charachter who is allowed to be happy without gobs of pain beforehand, or at all?

Well there's Chori Chori with Rani. And I don't remember that much pain in Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha :D Well and there's only emotional pain in HDDCS, right? It's Ash who gets shot, not him.

It's just that he is probably better in the unhappy and in pain roles than he is in the romantic comedy ones.

I did mean emotional pain, too :) He was mopey and miserable all throughout Chori Chori (which I just disliked, btw) and HDDCS (with good cause). PTHHT, you are right, not so bad. Though that airplane song would torment me, no doubt.

And we have Ishq to prove that he should stay far far away from romcoms!

[small voice] I actually liked nutty, trying to be humorous Ajay in Ishq. But mostly only if you keep in mind that it is AJAY, if you know his typical villain or stoic hero roles seeing him squeek and scramble around is quite hilarious.

And at the same time it should NEVER be repeated in any other movie. Seriously, one movie like that is exactly enough for his career.

I ended up thinking someone was feeding uppers mixed with PCP to Ajay during Ishq. But since that movie I've wanted to see Kajol and Aamir together and am about to!

When this was first announced, I didn't care much for it, but now as pictures are being leaked and such, I'm getting really excited! WHEE.

I know, me too. It actually happens with a lot of Bolly movies for me. I wasn't even into KANK until pics and now am rabid.

I just can't get over how much Konkona resembles Bipasha in the poster. I can't believe it's her.

You know, it might be Bipasha. This was the cast way back when and I've heard something about Bips being attached to it now, so it's probable she replaced Konkona. In which case, oooooops on my part.

Hmm you could be right and they just didn't change the IMDB info including Konkona. I hope that's not true though. I like Bips, but I'd really like to see Konkona in this!
