I am rewatching the perfection that is Firefly and am watching "Our Mrs. Reynolds." I am so full of giddy glee. Every time I just forget how perfect that show was, how funny and how sharp. Every time I get PISSED OFF that it got cancelled. I adored the movie, but the lack of BO means it is extremely unlikely there would be more, and I am selfish.

*sigh* Every time I watch an episode I feel that little ball of frustration that sits right over my heart. It makes me want to kick a network executive. Hard.

I know. He is so frustrated but they are so amused, because hey, after all, it's not life threatening and it's going to resolve itself.

Yeah, me too. I tore through the eps last year, and in between psycho posting about it, I remember thinking "that's IT? There is NO MORE? ARGH" It's a measure of how much I adored this, that even the ultimate spoiler ho that I am, I stayed entirely unspoiled for the movie, because it could be the very last bit of Firefly and I wanted to go in cold (and it nearly gave me heart attacks).

Yes. With "Serenity" even though I'd love more, I am happy with where we are left at. Yay.

I so wish they would make more movies or something - but I'm not sure how much story is left to tell - but Joss could probably pull it off.

There has to be a lot of stories left: after all, initially Serenity was optioned for a trilogy. Unfortunately, it was conditioned on it doing better than it did at the BO so I think it's dead.
