Happy you are not leaving LJ totally. I too am behind on Gu Family Book- but I still want the baddie to die a horrible horrible horrible death, and I want it NOW. The prob is that we all know it won't happen as we need the baddie to keep the story going...but still. Grrr... I guess the actor is doing his job well. ;)
I also thik that the cast for the heirs is to old to play high school- but I kind of don't care because they are full o' awesome. So yeah....I guess I will just pretend that they are high schoolers- or at least try not to think of it too hard.
I can't think of any college kdramas that were hits - I wonder if they are worried about some college curse? I don't even care they are too old tbh - at least that way I can drool guilt-free.
I missed reading your entries! I am tentatively looking forward to Heirs as well! It seems too good to be true, but I'm hoping the writers/actors can pull it off.
And here is another book Mousie recommends that I must read. (The hero sounds a bit like how Finnick might have been if he had no relief from being whored out in the Capitol.)
And yes, I totally thought of Finnick a bit with this book. It's available from amazon on kindle - you can either buy it (I think it's $3.99) or, if you have prime, borrow it for free (which is what I did, and then liked it enough to buy it). Preview for first chapter of book 2 is at http://www.totallybookedblog,com
It seriously is so so good - I don't remember the last time I got so obsessed with the characters. They are just so damaged and strong and perfect together...
Hi there, nice to see you in these parts again. :)
I've been having the longest kdrama draught in years. I tried several of the currently airing dramas too but only TEN was able to keep me interested enough to stay tuned. Of the new batch Heartless City started out very promising and Shark may get there yet as well. Monstar shockingly doesn't suck, so it's my current fluffy piece. ^^
The Heirs doesn't interest me much but I may check it for Kim Yoo Bin if I have time. I'm totally off the LMH bandwagon though. :)
Besides falling for Monstar the other surprise is that I'm way more invested in Heartless City than Shark. Have to see how I feel once I've seen this week's episodes.
The 1st ep of Shark was rather underwhelming, the 2nd one was much better but Shark still didn't grab me the way Mawang and Resurrection did. Those two I fell in love with right from the beginning.
