I can't imagine anyone not falling prey to that ep lol. I also loved the heck out of 285 South *sigh* the fehrian came out in a fehrocious way during that ep...btw you have pushed me into watching the show again on netflix. I wonder if I can find the VHS tapes I had from back in the day for this show....lord knows it was before I even knew about DVRs so VHS was as good as it got for my broke self.
You're probably better off with the VHS tapes for some things - they switched out some of the songs they used as background tracks when they were airing, and they have different songs on the DVD - Santana's Put Your Lights On and Gomez's We Haven't Turned Around are missing from the DVD version of Heatwave and this makes me badly want bootlegs:(
I have watched the episode 1 of Roswell! I adore Max (for the same reasons) , but I might end up liking second OTP more. First OTP has already passed the "falling in love" stage (and I like it the most).
I am going to binge on Jang Ok Jung - it looks like my thing, so pretty.
The Family book is not for me as I find the main actor very unattractive (he reminds me of young Ron Wesley, before Rupert Grint grew up and became attractive)
Second OTP is adorable - hope you enjoy them! (I am a huge fan of established couples facing stuff and TV doesn't do it enough, so you can imagine how happy I was with Max/Liz).
JOJ - is gorgeous and very well-written. I didn't think I'd like it at all, but I was won over.
Family Book - I agree that Lee Seung Gi is not winning any beauty pageants but I find him so charismatic and appealing on screen that I don't even care. Though LOLOL about Rupert Grint comparison.
Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh Roswell. Doing the human-girl-falling-in-love-with not-so-human dude-after-he-saves-her-life a decade before Twatlight, and doing it better, too. (and count me in as another one on board the Liz/Maria friend train, they were adorable together and I feel like genuine female friendships (NOT frenemies!) do not get enough air time in any teen show these days.
That scene at the end of Gu Family Book would have been perfect, if Suzy could emote. In silhouette and from his end, it's awesome and romantic, but the gormless look on her face when he's touching it just makes me want to laugh. I actually think he has better chemistry with Lee Yoo Bi too, her character may not be destined for OTP-dom but she is so much better to watch here than she was in Nice Guy.
