It's official, by the end of ep 2 I am hooked! It's so sharp and funny and awesome and deliciously off-kilter. And the cast are acting their socks off. I can't say I love Kim Myung Min's Anthony as a person, but as a character he is utterly entertaining, and Jung Ryo Won is utter love ( Read more... )

Ah, so this means subs for ep 2 of KoD are out. :) That'll be in my tonight's roster...

I'm taking a break from all of my angsty dramas atm. I realised that I've maxed out my angst quota and need to watch something more cheerful for a change. Nice Guy is on hold till it's done so I can binge the last 6 epis.

Which is why my list now consists of stuff like KoD, ILiCDD, Horse Doctor and Cheer Up Mr Kim (yup, another daily with no subs, LOL!). I'll probably add Can We Get Married too....

I'm going to give King of Dramas a try when I have more time this weekend! I've reached the point where I'm excited about the fact that there are ANY promising lighter dramas these days, not to mention it'll be interesting to see how it stacks up against Horse Doctor, since the two are in direct ratings competition.

precisely this. i don't even want to watch this week's eps, despite how excited i was about eungi regaining her memory. i don't think it's even angst overload, i think it didn't start out that way but it turned into a show where weekly can't carry it. for me weekly only works for very, very few; i think city hunter was the only one where i actually enjoyed it.

Yeah, I read the recaps but that is all I want. I have no desire to actually watch. I agree, it would have been a better binge drama.
