I have already scheduled for a re-watch when this is over ... I'm d/ling all eps and subs and when it is over I'll marathon it. So there better is a happy ending, I even can accept a City Hunter ending!

You know, I was always one of those people who hated when a woman time travelled and stayed in the past for a man (romances have a whole sub genre). I always thought she was insane - no man I worth giving up modern medicine, travel, science, safety etc for. But for te first time in my 30+ years, I am screaming at the screen for her to stay - because he can't live without her (he will exist, but it won't be a life) but also because she is so much the better, more necessary person in 1300s than she was in our time.

It has come to the point that, when I watch Western movies with a kiss/sex scene, I feel almost embarrassed. With only nuzzling/holding hands etc. you can convey so much more emotion than 'just sex'. Having said that, won't deter me from reading NC17 fan fic .. but then it is in my head and not on screen if you know what I mean? :)

Yes, especially since time moves faster in the future - for all we know, it has been a year back in 21st century.
The thing is, she has to affirmatively decide to stay on her own because you know Choi Young would never ask her - he feels too guilty, too responsible, possibly even too unworthy. So make the big inarticulate lug happy and stay, Eun Soo!
I do wish she could go back for a little bit to say goodbye to her family and grab supplies.
EP16 was much better than EP15 but ES is still so cold. I can understand CY complaining about her having no heart. But at the same time I like that ES is no silly fall-in-love heroine. She is very guarded and difficult to read.
I'm very excited for the next episodes. Hopefully we will see why she closed her heart so much to others. Time travel often gives me head aches but this time it could be interesting. Looks now she is in some kind of time loop. And how fit this supernatural powers in?
It's interesting how perceptions differ - I loved ep16 but in terms of sheer shippiness, I don't think anything can beat 15.

Re: ES closing her heart to love before - it makes perfect sense to me even without some explanation of trauma or whatever. Because that is exactly how I was - holding back, afraid of being hurt etc until I fell for Mr Mousie - I was like that with him too but he managed to smash through. And we've been together for almost 13 years now.
I prefer less subtle skinship :P. But I'm not really romantic in RL, so I have sometimes problems to understand why they don't jump on each other like bunnies. If I would like the girl I would kiss her senseless and drag her to my den to show her my "stamp collection" :D. Maybe that was the reason why I instantly fell for QIHM XD.
I can't stop bother to guess since I often fall for time travel stories...in books, films, tv...*sigh*. It seems it intrigues me.
Yes, I think we are like this in modern times, even without trauma or loosing a beloved one ever and ever again in timeloop. My Bf didn't needed to smash some walls, he just had to say clearly what he wanted. Like I said, I'm not really romantic and often get in trouble for not wrapping my words in sugar coat :D.
