Someone posted on joonni.com the trailer for the 2009 version of Faith, the one with a somewhat different plot that was going to be with Kang Ji Hwan until the fact that was embroiled in a legal dispute with his management scuppered the project.

Man, this looks awesome! And I love me some Kang Ji Hwan. Though I must admit, I LOL'd at the long cartoony shots of the blood cells and clogged arteries and whatnot. It felt like an episode of the Magic School Bus, haha.

I mean I like Faith with Min Ho but this, I would have loved this.
Darn it KJH, why did you choose to make Lie to me instead and that legal dispute, can't we just get along.
But I have to say I am enjoying the scenes with Princess Noguk and the king, for some reason I'm actually
at the moment more interested in them then in our lady doctor and fierce warrior.

I heard Lee Jun Ki was the1st original male lead in Faith but unfortunetely, due to his military service he had to drop out of the project,and then he has been replaced with kang Ji Hwan!

Yup. I actually wonder what it would have been like with LJK - despite his elegance, he is excellent at violent and screwed up and emotional (see Dog/Wolf) so I think he would have killed in the role. They clearly were casting older before they got LMH - both LJK and KJH are in their 30s.

This trailer looks fantastic, but what I love about Faith is Eun-soo and the fact that she is the time traveller and the doctor. So while it's a shame that they didn't go with the darker and grimer scheme, I'm still fine with this version of Faith.

And well, the trailer is the proof that Lee Philip would look a 100 times more better with a different hairstyle. Because he hasn't changed that much agewise.

I love Eun Soo but I'd trade her in a minute for a grim kdrama Lord of the Rings thing. I can't help it!

Yeah, LP is gorgeous, and his hairstyle in 2012 version does him no favors. (He went to my alma mater - hmmm, maybe I should have chased him :P)

I think I'll just rewatch The Legend :D Something I wanted to do anyway, but after watching this trailer I'm really looking forward to it.
But I understand your feelings, this is the best kdrama trailer I've ever seen and the drama could've been spectacular.
