I was confused but believe he just wanted YJ to fight for his love.... or maybe he wanted to know how much YJ loves SW.
Well, I was afraid he was really not giving up but in the end he did and it was so sad. I'm happy TW let go, and I love to see how much he loves his brother.
Call me weird, but I like to see their bromance scenes more than YJ/SW scenes!
hehe, yea I think TW wanted to teach his brother that he should have fought for his love regardless. Whether it was now or then, he should've given his all. Because in the end, YJ had to realize that he made a mistake backing off from his confession years ago because he loved his brother. I guess this way he got to give his go ahead knowing that YJ will fight for her.
I was so confused when I watched it raw. But I loved watching the two couples. I'm still in aww that these are mostly new to acting idols. I'm going to miss this show. I'll def have to backtrack and watch all the eps I missed.
I think TW really wanted confirmation from YJ that he really genuinely loved SW. I think he did know something had gone terribly wrong when every time they were supposed to meet all three YJ had a excuse not to come. Finally YJ said that he wouldn't back down and that he loves SW, he could say all the things he wanted to say but didn't because he was so afraid of hurting his brother. TW really is a good brother, it's refreshing to see such a relationship compared to all the dramas where siblings hate each other. At the ending where YJ realizes what TW did I was bawling.
I have to say, I am totally confused why Tae Woong, in the cafe conversation, doesn't say 'fine, you love Shi Won, be happy' instead pretending he wants to still chase her. WTF? I mean, sure, angsting Yoon Jae is pretty heavenly, but other than that and the surprise factor at the end of the episode, I see no earthly point to his doing what he did.
I agree--this was the first time I felt like the plot mechanics overtook the characterization, and I did not like it. But it's just one misstep in the perfection that is this show, so I'll let it slide.
YJ breaking down in the restaurant just tore my heart out. OH THAT BOY. I love everything about this show.
