Well, she did! In ep 14! The very fact that she didn't protest when Joon pulled her to meet their parents speaks volumes. But, alas, things got out of hand and they didn't get to come clean. I was wondering why In Ha seemed hesitant towards the end of the episode to going through the wedding. Was it because he saw how him hurting Joon's mom is causing her to hurt Yoon Hee? Or? And then, it in last 5 secs, we finally get to know why. Such a dramatic turn of events! I wonder how the timid In Ha would react this time round, especially when he feels he owed his son so much.
Yeah, and she told the doctor she wishes she picked Joon. Still, I wish they'd just tell all their parents to jump off a cliff and live together. I mean, he's a fashion photographer, not a politician, there is a lot more leeway there about personal lifestyle, I'd think.
It’s a gorgeous, gorgeous scene. So painful and so beautiful.
It kills me, this misery between Hana and Joon precisely because they were so functional and uncomplicated together.
One of the things that I’ve loved so much is how unexpectedly functional they are, as you say. They start out with our typical bicker-y dynamic, but once they actually start dating they are so incredibly functional and good to each other and it’s amazing that Joon can manage that with his background. I love that the show didn’t draw the we-hate-each-other-but-are-attracted dynamic out too long, because they often do.
In a way, even though it was Joon who broke up with Hana first and it took Hana an ep to find out why and make it a mutual thing, I think it is Hana who is the catalyst, the driver, the one who holds the key.
Yes, exactly.
, but I just want him to come first to someone, for once. That conversation on the beach in 13, when he told her how his whole childhood he wanted to be first to someone, at least once* just killed me.

I really wanted to hug him and tell him that he is special. He really want to be first to someone but even Ha Na puts her mother before Joon :(
Looking forward to your recap of the rest of the eps.

I like that he did overhear later Hana saying she wished she picked him over her mother. Yay!
