also they are riding on the coat tails of the MoonSun success.....I won;t be surprised if the rating go down after the first few episodes, like what happened with ATHENA...but looks like it won't go too far down either....if it doesn't then MBC sure is having some lucky year after a slew of bad ones.....idk if it would be a deserved one though....I would've easily figured that Equator Man would be the ratings winner this time around considering the production team and the cast..o wells....at least I think that it might be the better drama...what's really surprising is that these shows are able to maintain numbers like this despite all the new cable programming....if things continue this way for the rest of the year for the big three, cable channels may not be able to make much of a difference and many may have to close down
Or Runaway :) Though hopefully it will not be a disaster either Athena or Runaway were because those were some awful awful dramas.
I wouldn't be surprised id TEM is the best of the bunch but revenge dramas with cast that is very good but haven't headlined a drama hit in a while probably can't defeat a combo of LSG and Ha Ji Won doing romance.
Not sure who's claiming that, but that doesn't fit the graphs I saw on DCgall. AGB Nielsen tracks '실시간 시청률 real-time ratings' while the shows are broadcast in the metropolitan areas, which give us a rough idea of how they've performed but sometimes the margin of difference can run up to 5%. In any case, for today, TK2Hs hit a high of 19% towards the end of its run.and the graph looked like the actual ratings would average in the 14-17% area. Both RP and TEM hovered around or under 10% the whole hour.
Someone also posted the shares, which is unusual (it costs close to 30$ to see the real-time numbers, most don't bother with the share data), and TK2Hs hit a high of 30% there. Maybe that's where the confusion comes from.
I attribute it to Ha Ji Won and Lee Seung Gi's star power.....because...the plot just isn't that exciting for me. In any case, great for them, and I hope the ratings (both K2H and RP) continue to climb!
What the @#@%? 27% is unholy. I don't know if it's starpower or that the North-South storyline is especially interesting now -- based on the previews, the writing wasn't breaking any new ground. Now I'm definitely checking this out.
