Apparently people write Chuck/Morgan slash. I need to go and hide now. (I have nothing against slash, but the thought of anyone of any gender getting hot and heavy with Morgan is...eeeeeeek. Do not want!)

Also, Haven fandom seems to be obsessed with threesomes. I suppose that's one way to resolve shipping dilemmas...

LOL! In spite of my icon, I do not understand the Chuck/Morgan slash either. BFFs, absolutely. Lovers? Really???

Morgan is one of those characters whose massive popularity mystifies me. In general, I try to forget he and the 2 other guys on the Nerd Herd don't exist. i like everyone else though.

The more Haven you watch, the harder it gets to not view Duke ad the bad boy who once broke Nathan's heart, and Nathan as still carrying a grudge over it. (Nathan actually says something late in season 2 that isn't hard to read that way.) The writers are big time Audrey/Nathan shippers, but also endorse the OT3 idea at times.

I confess I find Morgan ridiculously amusing and I totally knew guys like him, so I am all for his presence in the show, but as a romantic/sexual prospect, I'd rather make out with a wall.

I am three eps into Haven and I can't help but think anyone hooking up with Duke is asking for a big case of STDs :) (I don't like romantic relationships that have more than two people, but plenty of fandom people do, so more power to the makers for indulging that fandom like).

Duke is strangely endearing in that "in any other show I'd hate you and want to punch you in most of your scenes but you are oddly endearing and have grown on me in a fungus-like way and I think I'll be sad if you ever leave. A few thwaps upside the head wouldn't hurt, though." way. I generally prefer monogamous relationships in fiction but am fine with poly as long as it's consentual with all partners, and not played as romantic rivals.

Like a lot of "comic BFF sidekicks" Morgan is too pervy and too disrespectful of personal space/boundaries for me. He probably wouldn't be if I didn't find his fixation on Ellie creepy a lot of the time. (I do give Devon props for accepting him as a weird thing that comes with his girlfriend's brother and not throwing him out a window though.)

I don't care one way or another about poly in rl as long as it involves consenting adults (my morals are solely my own and should not dictate how others live) but I am not keen on it in fiction because I can't ship it.

Chuck/Morgan slash? That is silly. If there is any slash, it should be Casey/Morgan.
