But yes, I loved the symbolism too - she was always the one good, sane, loving thing in his life, and now he can finally join her in the sun.
I also loved that he never really reconnected with the President in a "OMG you are my Daddy let's hang out" kind of way. It takes more than blood to make a father (though his adopted father was even worse, ugh).
Whee. :) Good time to start the series, though no guarantee you'll love it. But if you make it up to the latest ep., you'll be paid off handsomely. Feels like it's entering a new chapter.
I remember when people said that he was a ghost at the end. It got me so pissed off, I refuse to believe it! I mean sure, it makes sense, with the mother and uncle packing and her acting so depressing, but I still refuse to believe it.
I really wish I could be happy with the ending. (I just finished City Hunter last night so maybe I just need more time to be rational about it! :-P) I mean, yes, I'm glad Yoon Sung survived and he and Na Na are together and happy, but...COME ON, SHOW! You made me sit through all those episodes where YS and NN are unhappy and missing each other and then they finally get their happy ending and all we get is a smile? Not even a hug? Gah!
Although, in my head version, this isn't the first time they've seen each other since the Jin-Pyo Incident. How could it be? Obviously she sat by his side in the hospital and stayed with him while he healed. Duh. :-D
