Cheesy cheesy goodness

Mr. Mousie and I went to see In Time yesterday and both enjoyed it (I thought it would be an awesome pilot for a cool scifi show a la Dark Angel. *sigh*)

But this is not the post about that. This is the post about one of the movie trailers in front of it - The Vow, starring Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams. First off, Channing Tatum does ( Read more... )

the vow, movies, in time, trailers, snow white and the hunstman, cheesy goodness

Actually, I think Snow White/Huntsman is the OTP of that movie? (Which is apparently the start of a trilogy.)

I find the Snow White revival interesting? I wish there were other tales (like "Snow Queen" or "East of the Sun, West of the Moon," which are my favorites) getting attention instead of just the one, but I think there are interesting things to be done with the different mythic versions of Snow White.

Are they? I thought this version had a Prince Charming. But we'll see.

I don't get the sudden Snow White fixation. Growing up, my favorite tales were Russian, Anderson (Snow Queen!) or Middle-Eastern but there are plenty of other even Western European stories that are not Snow White.

I can't wait till Snow White...I am watching it just for Charlize Theron and swoon-inducing Chris Hemsworth!!!! And Kstew...not impress that she was chosen as Snow White...Ginnifer Goodwin was a much smarter choice. Oh well...

The Vow...next Valentine`s Day movie...I hope it will be a good ending. Because isn`t there a 3rd guy fighting for Rachel McAdams`affection?

I am sure it will have a happy ending ;)

Yeah, your views on Snow White are mine as well.

Actually, Kristen Stewart can act in movies that aren't Twilight. It's really weird how that franchise makes all the actors so lifeless when they're all really fantastic in other things. (Jackson Rathbone was amazing in a really disturbing episode of Criminal Minds)

Really? She was dreadful in Twilight and her expressions in this trailer reminded me of Bella so ... am worried.

Yeah, I've seen her in random other stuff and I heard she was really good in Panic Room.

Why oh why do I not know about The Vow??...have I mentioned that I have rewatched Salaam-e-ishq five hundred time just for Vidya and John's storyline?? (why hasn't Bollywood paired those two up again?) and I absolutely adore Rachel Mcadams...heck I even rooted for Regina 'cuz of her in Mean Girls (good old HS days)..so basically what I want to say is that..I WANT THIS STAT!!!
don't actually think much of Channing's acting abilities, but I could live with him if he loves Rachel....also he can't be as bad as Kristen Stewart...in the words of my best friend, I could probably act better than her..as a cow...sigh...the trailer for Snowhite looks really goodand Charlize is breathtaking and I would really want to watch it excpet Kristen is a big turnoff to me...majorly allergic!!!

I don't think Channing can act either, but I find him so massively hot, I don't care. It does look like he and Rachel (who I love) have awesome chemistry, so hopefully this will be good.

I am allergic to K.Stew as well but will make an exception for this one.

The Vow's plot reminds me of a movie I watched a year or two ago, except it was the husband that lost his memory after an accident. Sounds like good times.

Oooh, the Snow White trailer. I watched it a few days ago and was intrigued by the premise (Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman doesn't hurt). For some reason, though, I've got a few doubts about how it'll be pulled off. Doesn't matter because I'm a sucker for fairy tale interpretations, so this is high on my list of movies to check out.

Speaking of which, I was finally able to watch Once Upon a Time tonight, and I'm so glad that I liked it after all! I'm going to catch up with the episodes I missed when I get the chance.
