thanks mousie! i've been looking for a good movie to watch. lately i've been watching alot of romantic korean movies but they've all been sad (i.e. sad movie, a moment to remember, the classic, etc...i don't know why I do this to myself lol)

Fun (very you) list! Fanaa, Rang De Basanti, DDLJ & Bunty aur Babli also make my top whatever list. Oh and Omkara of course. Dil Se used to but I haven't seen it in such a long while I'm unsure how I'd rate it now.

I didn't know you liked Raavan enough to make your top list! I liked it but found the pace a little clunky. I've been meaning to see the Tamil version in which Vikram plays the main role, I have it on DVD and everything, just haven't gotten around to it.

LOL, yeah, it's very me - 5 of the movies are SRK films :) Plus, most of these are epic love stories and the only comedy on the list is BaurB and it's a romantic caper, not one of those slapsticky ones like Dostana (which I like, but not enough to put on the fave list).

Re: Raavan. I loved it - it was gorgeous and well-acted but, most importantly, not like anything I have ever seen. I really want to watch the Tamil version - I love Abhishek when he does dark roles, but Vikram is another thing altogether!

Also, I own the Tamil version on DVD (saw the Hindi one in theatres) but have yet to watch it. Should some time to compare... :)

Om7h! Where am I going to find some of these? :o I love so so much Omkara. I think it's fivil who first rec it to me and everything about it is justµ... perfect. Dark and so intense and yeah the guy playing Iago was frightening and multi dimensionnal. And oh my HIS VOICE.

Now out of this I really really want to see Maghadeera. The all clip just made me salivate. Faana looks so interesting and original. What is that international cast in Rang de Basanti? Oh DO WANT.

You already talked about Madrasapattinam didn't you? This looks... anyway give me romans outfit and I'm on it like butter on a toast. And seriously, India has the most beautiful girls EVER.
It's terrible because I know some of the songs from Dil Se as a matter of fact but I never saw the movie. Shame on me :p.

You should be able to find most if not all of the above movies with English subtitles at sominaltvtheater if you're unable to find them on youtube.

Hmmm, I had dl links for Magadheera which I may have lost by now (because I bought the DVD) - let me look for it again. I remember coming across a good site to dl Southie movies.

For Bollywood, anon is correct as to where to watch. Let me know if you can't find something you want there and I'll try to hunt down links. (I am not as good with default link knowledge because with Bolly/Kolly/Tolly I buy my movies - they are really cheap).

RdB - yes. The heroine is English.
