OMG YESSS. That whole preview was amazing. The chemistry between the two characters is incredible. AND we're only on episode 5? I almost wish it was a bit longer as we seem to zip through these episodes.
I don't really mind secondary girl as she is just plain crazy and doesn't bother to hide it and play it in a cutesy way. This drama does have a bit of everything in it so it's a lot of fun to watch.
I am really liking this drama a lot too!! Can't wait for the next episode. the plot of trying to seduce an actor to the North seems a little silly. And having a girl who they thought was a high school student(or maybe still think is?) as a bodyguard seems silly too... But yea I LOVE the actors/characters!!
It will definitely help us get over CH...Wah! So sad there are only 2 more episodes...I feel the last 2 are goign to be crazy I feel there is still SO much stuff that needs to happen!
KW's stealthy arm-around-the-shoulders move just about KILLED me. I am so looking forward to seeing this. Also, MAKEOUTS! \o/
I've noticed that one of the must-have elements in all the dramas I end up really liking is that the girl is smart, strong, competent, and worthy of respect. The lead girls in dramas like Playful Kiss, Personal Taste, and You're Beautiful all drove me nuts--I couldn't stand to watch them embarrassing themselves, and I didn't finish any of those dramas. On the other hand, Myung-Wol, Gil Ra Im, and Kim Nana are all tough, confident, capable women who are totally worthy of the smart, strong, sexy guys who fall in love with them. I can cheer for them, instead of cringing in reflected embarrassment. And you're right--Myung-Wol the Spy, Secret Garden, and City Hunter aren't really rom-coms at all, or fusion at the least.
What can I say--I like my guys sexy and my ladies awesome. :)
I so agree with you! The more smart, competent, and confident a female lead is, the more I adore and root for her. Leads that allow others to lead them or let themselves be pushed around for an entire drama irritate me. I can understand it if it means there's a character change in the course of the show but if not, it's not worth my time.
I haven't finished Secret Garden or Myung Wol yet but it's on my drama list of must watches!
I feel like the downer, but that's not the preview for episode 5. That's a mini music video that was filmed when they were in Singapore. It was used to promote the show there. However, some scenes may be used later in the show.

Yeah, the plot is insane but it somehow works.

I can't see how they'd use it though ever - it seemed much too early for makeouts.
