Period cdramas remain my favorite dramas, so it's no surprise to say I am quite interested in Phoenix Totem a.k.a. Love War a.k.a. War of Desire, which stars Zhang Han, Bai Bing and Zheng Shuang. Oh, the trailer basically gives a "breaking the fourth wall" kinda look into the characters especially with the beginning part since the characters say one line of dialogue that kinda sums up their inner thoughts/characterization. It looks like it'll be one of those palace intrigue types. Since it appears there's 2 girl's names that features heavily in the trailer: Feng Yan and Cai Die, one of them is the schemer looking to gain absolute power within the imperial harem. The dude walking around was the Emperor showing off his inner palace to the camera.

I'm kinda meh about it unless I see more since I've seen so many dramas like it. I've seen some dramas that were so pretty but were also train wrecks, albeit pretty train wrecks so I would need to know more first.

I have obsessive love for Zhang Han after Fall in Love. I will watch him in anything!! I even tried to watch that dreadful Chinese remake of HYD. So yeah, I'm excited for this :) Just as I am excited for Fall in Love Season 2!
