HURRAH FOR LIU BEI. ♥ (LOL seriously I never thought I'd ever say this in my life.) And I love his combination with Shang Xiang; she's got the street smarts while he's more academic/analytical. Together, they leave the rest of Wu Hu in the dust intellectually - I was so amused when Shang Xiang left to take care of something in Episode 19 and she pointed out that Liu Bei should stay behind because the others will need him if something happens, and good thing he did, too. :P
Guan Yu's my second favourite and Zhou Yu my third, and the rest are about equal. It's really rather rare to find a drama where I pretty much like 95% of the characters; I even find Dong Zhuo amusing. You\ve watched the BTS video for Episode 21 with Cao Cao playing the piano until his fingers start bleeding, right? OMG that was funny.

They're just slotted behind the direct links for the split files for each ep, but squint a bit and you'll see "BTS" listed after Ep 5, 8, 14, 16, 20 and 21. :P If you haven't seen those Ep 20 NG clips, OMG you have to, I nearly died laughing when Guan Yu choked on his soup and started burping and spitting everywhere in embarrassment.

I know, I never thought I'd love Liu Bei, of all people. And yay for SX! And they are the most functional of all the OTPs in this.
