Wasn't it supposed to be Wu Chun? Or am I just confusing things up?

He dropped out; reports said it was because he was clearly his schedule for a movie (probably the upcoming Yang's Clan one), though his management protests it's all the fault of the production team not getting the script ironed out in time and so on. :P

I wonder if this is going to be more based on the manga or the Jdrama?

being a jdrama, this was singularly passionless and with lack of touching (which, in a story about a sexbot, is bizarre, to say the least).

That's what I hate and love most about J-dramas -- the lack of touching. When people do, it's like WOW! But I wish they would just kiss more. They do a better job of kissing in BL movies for heaven's sake.

speaking of evil endings, i have just finished Something Happened in Bali...and i need a comfort drama after the intense angst feast.

the ending was so cruel...yet so perfect. argggh. and man, Jo In Sung can cry!

I love Bali so much but yeah, that was brutal. If fitting.

GHS does emo, weepy heroines REALLY well, to the point where you want to just end their misery for them with a wave of Lu Bu's halberd or something. I suffered through 120 episodes of her doing the "I'm a tough individual but I cry every episode" thing in Pure 19, ugh. And I've also watched parts of King and I. Now that I think about it, I've had total over exposure to GHS; just how did I manage to watch so many things with her in it? Given this, it may or may not be a good thing that she'll likely be dubbed in Absolute Darling. :P At least I won't have to hear her voice.

LOLOL at GHS. She's not my thing at all but she's very hardworking, so I don't begrudge her her success.

Oh, I don't begrudge her her success at all. :P I just wish she'd be successful in dramas that I have no plans to watch, LOL. That way it'd be a win-win situation; I won't have to see her overact/cry and flail, and she'll earn big bucks.
