Feel free to link to my Other Shore post. Actually, you can link to anything I post, sweetie. Really no need to ask me in the future. ^___^ Hope the new job is working out as well as you had expected.
I have a (reasonable or not) prejudice against male nannies. I'd never entrust my kid to one.
That's... not very reasonable, no. Nannies generally come with references and background checks. And men who are interested in children would be unlikely to seek a job as a nanny as, if anything, that offers way more chances of getting caught out. If you get unlucky with nannies, you are probably as likely to get a woman who wants to steal your kid, or is generally abusive, as you are to get a male molester.
Thoroughness of references and background checks depends on the agencies. Also, sometimes past employers do not know about what you really did. Leaving a small child one-on-one with a stranger in a non-structured environment is, imo, a bad idea wheher the nanny is male or female. When you add in the fact that majority of child molestation is done by men, no thanks.
HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH? Suh Ji Suk is in Manny??? I did not even bother to check casts as soon as i read the drama name. I can't resist SJS. maybe i just check the first ep and see ;-)
