How much do I love Qing Chuan's confrontation with Eight's Mother. I don't particularly blame the mother because she's under the impression QC is playing Eight and Four and is a super-schemer (but this being the palace, can't come out and say it openly and thus tries to appeal to who she thinks QC is - evil schemer). I know! A strong, common-sense heroine. A hero who treats her well. OTP which communicates. Etc etc etc. I love it.

I love how she was honest with Eight about being locked up with four. I was so sure that was going to cause a lot of drama. It was refreshing to have a part like that in a drama where the characters weren't stupid and tried to hide it making it worse. And I was so glad Eight had total trust in her and put that right behind him! I love QC/Eight. This show is awesome!

Yes, I know, I love that they talk things out and there is no stupid misunderstanding that could be explained by a 5-min conversation.
