As you can tell by this LJ becoming cdrama central lately, no kdramas have been grabbing me this year, except for New Tales of the Gisaeng. 49 days looks good and it's a plus that I like the whole cast with exception of Nam Gyuri because haven't seen her act anywhere.
I've had the same going on for me that no kdorama or jdorama have really been that great but at least in Japan there will be Jin season 2 <3 to look forward to.

Hmmmm... I'm not really feeling any of these. 49 Days has such a pretty lineup that I may check it out just for them. ;P Thorn Birds may be too melodramatic for me but you never know.....

I've had bit more luck finding k-dramas to my taste lately. I just finished President (round one - the raw version) and it was exellent. Sign has been pretty good as well. I also got totally hooked on Once upon a Time in Saengchori and mainlined 15 episodes at a go, ha. The last 2 dramas are winding down so I'll be finished with them soonish.

mousie...
You definetly need to watch once upon a time in saengchori....
Its hillarious...
you should prbobaly save it to watch, after you hit your self in the face, the next time.
ITs a good palate cleansing funny drama. =)

Yes, the above three dramas look good...
WE are finally comming back to the dramas that korea is great in "melo dramas" =)

Yes, kdramas should stick to what they do best :)

And speaking of, just finished ep 10 of Gisaeng and OMG the hug! I must do an epic post soon.

Turns out Jo Hyun Jae's character is childhood friend/ex boyfriend of Nam Gyuri. There's this misunderstanding which causes their relationship to go nowhere. Cue angst as he's one of the first people to realize exactly who is in Lee Yo-won's character's body. It also seems as if he'll fall in love and have to choose between Lee Yo-won's character and his lost love Nam Gyuri's character. Confused yet? It gets worse. What with the fiancee and the fiancee-stealing-while-I'm-in-a-coma best friend. You can see where this is going, right?

Don't let me start on Jung Il Woo's supposed connection to Lee Yo-won's character before she gets body-snatched.
