Bae Doona killed me in the end of that fight scene you mentioned. She stood her ground and was so strong but watching her after he left, you can see her face crumble and all the emotions just come flooding out. Within only a few seconds she went from being so emotionless and telling KS to hate her to looking completely destroyed.
BTW, longtime lurker here and I only started watching Gloria based on your posts on it. Now I'm addicted to the amazing-ness! Longest drama I've ever watched but so worth it!

Hi! Thanks for delurking!

And yes - that scene was amazing - she is so good at portraying both strength and the hidden fragility.

I'm really glad JS is about to get what's coming to him. Like you said, it was only a matter of time. He doesn't really seem to be the sharpest tool in the shed, if you know what I mean. The grandma bent on revenge is about a trillion times smarter than he or anyone else on the show and you know she's gonna take her revenge slowly to make him feel as much pain as she can. I kind of love that lady.

Oh there's a scene with Jin Jin coming in I think the latest subbed episode which was just !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. It wasn't a shippy scene, so it's not about that. It was basically her standing up to JS in a way that made me want to highfive her like a million times. I hope that's vague enough to be nonspoilery.

You know what? I kinda hoped that DH had not interfered. Because then KS would have totally lost his cool and FINALLY kicked the every-living shit out of Creepy. Who so totally deserves it. Because you know that KS can do it. He was Mr Fight K'lub after all. Hope THAT's vague enough to be nonspoilery, too!

That would have been super super fun. Mmmmm.

I love that this drama has a reason that its businessman hero knows how to fight and not just taking it out of nowhere.

I loved the smackdown.

And yes, JS is not that bright - it's just pure luck he hasn't been taken down yet.

I will say this...don't be so liberal with your drama temptations, okay. As of right now, I'm failing three of my classes and while I blame myself...It's your fault too!!! Look, I was minding my own business and then i mistakenly came across your site. Now i stalk it like a crazy person and even leave comments!Gasp! I never do that! Plus you turn me on to these wonderful dramas that make me lose my social life(not that I had one to begin with) Give me my life back!!!
Speaking of life, is there life after Gloria?

Does The Monkey King count as a period drama? Because that's the only chinese drama of that kind that I've watched. Of course, you're tempting me to check out out the Yang Clan and Four Women Conflict even though I'm pretty sure I know better than to get within an inch of those angst-ridden work of arts. The whole year after I watched Love Contract was spent in horrible daze. Yes, I said a year and I mean a full year. I am extremely easily depressed. Even the description of tragic dramas make me depressed.
