SG - a bit on secondary OTP :)

Am about to binge on Secret Garden, mmmmmm.

In part because I read spoilers through ep 12 (which aired today) and skimmed the eps and they indicate they are not giving up on Oska/Seul after all (I am attached to my secondary otps, sorry!) but in part because I cannot stay away from the adorable cooky angsty trainwreck that is Joo Won/Ra Im.

i most definitely do not want to feed seul to alligators, i would much rather feed her to oska! :)

i adore both these characters, and am oddly more invested in them. i think it's cos they obviously love each other so much, but just carrying too much pain, inflicted on themselves and each other, to really see what they do to each other. in another time, they would probably have merited a drama to themselves.

on the other hand, ok, i'm being obtuse, but all the references to little mermaid is beginning to confuse the heck out of me. what does JW mean? He wants RI to just disappear from his live even though she loves him, and now, he's volunteering to do that instead of her? so, obliquely, we have a confession of love, albeit, a hopeless one?

i will probably binge on SG after i finish binging on nagareboshi. OMG, so goooood. I dont usually like Ueto Aya, but she's good in this. and as for yutaka, i have no words... i luuuuuurve him.

I'd love to have a whole drama about a couple like that, but with very few exceptions, like Que Sera Sera and Bali, kdramas tend to like their main couples a little less intrinsically messed-up but deal better with that messiness in secondary couples (see Coffee Prince or Capital Scandal ( ... )

I'm all for the alligators. She's delusional. What sistah told her that telling the ex you are going to marry his favorite cousin was the way to get the ex back? And since cousin not only knows this but doesn't LIKE you and you think you can go through the Mom from hell to get there? Delusional. Oska at least told her - a) you dumped me b) you broke my heart c) get the hell out of my life and stay away from my cousin you delusional little wench d) I like Ra Im more than you - which at this point may well be true except that he knows RI and JW love each other and he's being actually a fairly decent friend to both.

Seul - otoh - told Oska a) I never loved you b) I'm gonna marry your cousin for his money and c) I'm going to hang around and make you watch

(and btw, WTH was she wearing in sub-zero Seoul winter to that signing? Leather hotpants or mini? At HER age - no nonononono. delusional. Not only a fashion don't but uncomfortable and unseasonal)

momosan (rounding up the alligators)

I was so relieved to see that Oska is not really into Ra Im. I mean, he likes her, because he knows she is a fan of his...but more so, he knows she is a good lady with a genuine heart ( ... )

I don't mind accident or sickness as long as it ends well.

This whole drama is so awesome

lol... I don't really care about the main couple anyway so it's all about Oska/Seul for me. I'm glad that he's not into Ra Im (so far) and love that he was mad not because he thought Joo Won had anything to do with her appearance at their family dinner but because he embarrassed her. Joo Won has some super loose lips and seems to love embarrassing people (like what he did to Ah Young).

Anyway, these two seem to want to keep this going for 8 more episodes.

They can keep it going all the want as long as they end up together :)

Hee I watched the RAW eps today too. Not all of it, but I skimmed bits and pieces and oh man the beginning of 11 was great. She had him chasing his own car. that was spectacular. I don't even know what he said but I am sure he deserved it. and The scene at the end of ep 12! SO CUUUUTE. He just sat there and watched her the whole time. but not before KICKING some poor sleeping guy out of the way and stealing everyone's blankets. HAHA. Oh drama even when I dont understand what you are saying you make me laugh. I know we should want Joo Won to reform, and I do of course but is it wrong if I dont want him to reform too much? Cause he is so hilarious now that I am worried when he becomes kind and decent he'll stop doing hysterical things. I mean he's so outrageous sometimes its almost endearing in a messed up way, maybe its just cause he's insane you want to give him leeway lol. Ra Im needs to keep giving him the smack down though. I love how she insulted him and stormed off like five times in like the first 10 minutes of ep 11 and he just ( ... )
