Last night, for some reason I couldn't sleep from 4am-6am so I ended up sitting in bed rereading old, bookmarked Veronica Mars fanfic, of all things.

I really liked the first season of Veronica Mars and was on TWoP a lot back then. But I was definitely anti-Logan, though :D

S1 of VM was one of the best I ever saw. And I was mad for Logan and Veronica as well. Never finished S2 though. It wasn't anything particular that upset me, I just fell behind at the beginning of the season and the lacklustre reactions didn't exactly push me to pick it up again.

S2 has some very good eps in second half (though overall s2 is flawed). But stay away from s3 :)

I marathoned VM, both seasons 1-2 after it was done airing. I'm so glad, bc I would have died from the week-to-week wait the way it was like for Buffy.

S3 doesn't exist for me either (Pez? Really?).

LoVe is love. I don't care if its not healthy for either of them, they are so damaged its actually the healthiest they've got is with each other.

I marathonned s1 but s2 was watched in real time, and ouch - waiing was haaaaard.

And agree on L/V - anyone normal is likely to run from either of them/won't get where they are coming from.

Dude, you are so behind. I've been re-watching S1 for the past week! I'm up to ep 19. This time though, I've been ffwd to all the good stuff, re: Logan/Veronica, lol. I've even started re-reading old TWOP episode threads. I feel bad for the non Lo/Ve lovers because the shippers were a wee bit insane back then.

You're right that they never would have ended up together in real life but that's kind of why I love them. In terms of fictional pairings they're just the right amount of fucked up, passionate and tragic that only really works for me in fiction. I eat that stuff up with a ladle.

We shall never talk about S3. It doesn't exist. I own the first two seasons but not that one and I still haven't finished watching that season. Let me be in my happy place! Although, I heard that the the finale was kind of the perfect ending for them in that, they had an understanding of who they were to each other. I'm still not watching though.

Did you ever see the preview for s4? It was so strange.

LOLOLOL I was one of those insane shippers. If there was a shipper war, I'd probably be on it, except that nobody shipped anyone but L/V, it was more shippers v. nonshippers :) It's the only time in my life I was THAT active in fandom :)

Yes, in fiction all things work for me which wouldn't necessarily in rl.

s4 preview - yikes. It just reeked of desperation. They should have just let it go.

Oh Veronica Mars, my absolutely love for a while!!! How much I love this series... especially seasons 1 and 2. I watched season 3 and after all, for me Logan and Veronica lived happily ever after because they're meant to be together ;)

I re-watched some episodes not long ago... *nostalgic*
