I was gonna make a post about this the other day. It is SOOO good. And really, who would have thought they'd ever make a sageuk with aliens?

I've watched the first two episodes and have eps 3 and 4 with subs ready to be watched but I think I'll wait until it's over and binge. It's the kind of drama where it's useful to watch the eps back to back and not let too much time go by between episodes (The Devil was this way as well, only more complicated). It feels grittier than the "mainstream" dramas and it's very well done. I was searching for HD versions of the RAWs but couldn't find anything so far. I hope they'll pop out somewhere soon.

Now I'm off to watch episode 7 of PK RAW. That'll tidy me over until tomorrow.

I will probably do a binge too - I agree, like Mawang it's best in one sitting.

The X-files part is bothering me. I like Kdramas more when they are themselves, not when they are trying to replicate Western shows.

but... it's a period piece! with aliens! Crazy.

Has the west done much with period pieces and aliens? Outlander was a lot of fun but the only one I can think of offhand. Well, Doctor Who but that hardly counts.

Actually, it seems to be taking a lot of Eastern/oriental mythology and explaining things in a new light with UFOs/aliens, which I find to be really cool. The fact that it's a sageuk is pretty nifty, too.

I'll wait until it's finished. Not only because of my Jumong marathon, but since it's so short it's tempting being able to watch it in a couple of days, maybe even on a weekend.
