1. I don't share the ship, because I am too much of a Yang Kang/Nianci shipper, but I can totally get where Ouyang Ke/Nianci shippers come from. Tbh, I would be RABID for them in another drama. Actually, I am tempted even here :)

I WAS SO MAD AT GJ TOO!! But there is a lot of lovely angst that comes out of it and it ends happily, so I suppose I can forgive him for it.

I think in this version the show stealers are the "bad" guys : Yang Kang, Oyang Ke, Wayang Honglie, Ouyang Feng ect... I tend to fastfoward GJ and HR scenes and maybe I am the only one but I like the mongolian princess not only because his brother is a "eye candy" but the girl is a courageous princess. But sometimes HR gets on my nerves (not only I don't find Ariel charming at all and some of her expressions irritate me) but the girl think too much she is "all that". The character maybe appealing because she is clever but she is very very selfcentered the only saving grace is she loves and helps the "hero" of the story. No wonder Guo Fu acts the way she does because HR maybe extremly cruel. In fact the good "heroes" who don't stop to give lectures are irritating, no wonder Yang Guo acts as he does. And am I the only one who find the friend of the arrogant beggar kung fu master and the other girl useless ?

I adore Huang Rong (and GJ) but I have always been more for do-gooder types myself :)

If you are referring to Old Urchin, oh God yes, so annoying.

The hilarity (or irony) in this revisionist version of LoCH is that Ouyang Ke might actually be the better choice for MNC. He's gonna love her 4ever and take her away to the Western Plains away from all this Song/Jin nonsense. Shit, I love all three guys in this version of LoCH ( ... )

Btw, I have gotten to babymaking scene in ep 42 of LOCH and is it me or were they making out next to OYK's body? That's really...disturbing.

Errr, yes, that appears to be the staging for that scene - but I have effectively blocked that out from my psyche.

Okay, I blame the PD a billion percent for doing that. That did NOT happen in the novel, and to do so is so icky I'm pretending it didn't happen, that's how I'm coping.

Anyways, the C-netizens were FURIOUS with that scene (for the same reasons we all found it weird and disturbing) and basically a ton of folks jumped off the YK-MNC ship for that. I did not, because dude, it was the lame PD's fault for setting up that scene that way.

Oh wells, MNC has chemistry with even a rock, to be honest. She totally mesmerized OYK, YK loves her to pieces, and even Wanyan Honglie respects her and sees her worth as a woman.

Sorry but I think OYK and MNC is very very weird, disturbing and he has more chemistry with HR. I thought I would be touched by MNC and OYK "sweet" scene but in my view I felt more a "Li Jie/OYK" shining scene than a appealing "couple/jodi" vibe. Frankly Yang Kang and Oyang Ke have gazilion more chemistry than OYK and MNC...
