i guess this will makes haru/nakaji shippers happy now that they are together. ugh, i dropped this drama ling time ago too because it was getting so silly. haru still in love with nakaji when he does not love her back and only goes after her when gets dumped by his gf.

In any case, I'm glad I dropped it, too! Better to invest my time in other things. I'm re-watching Long Vacation and the magic hasn't died even after 15 years. <3

Haru and Nakaji end up together - does anyone care for them at this point? Ugh. EK used to be such a good writer, what happened?

Good question. :( Sunao was practically just a re-telling of her old Asunaro Hakusho anyway. You'd think she'd at least be able to come up with a fresh idea or two.

EK, what happened? I've loved all her dramas - TattaKoi, Orange Days, Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi,Love Story, Beautiful Life, Aishiteiru to Ittekure - very much. She always seemed to have a way of writing characters and complicated relationships. But this. . .sounds awful. I'm glad I never picked it up.

All I can think is that someone told her/she decided to try and do something akin to Last Friends. Something more 'edgy' and it failed. From what I hear, via my flist and boards, the characters became very unlikable. Or at least Haru and Nakaji.

I have to wonder - did Peach ever have a storyline or did they forget her after she tried to kill herself in episode two? My flist seemed to to think she was terribly underused.

The way they treated Linda's character was just horrendous. All this time was spent on Nakaji/Haru until they realized, WAIT! we need to kill someone. :/
