Heeee.

But the set-up is totally like the secondary OTP except I don't think the girl becomes an assassin :)

I'll let you know if it's any good.

Heeeee. You cam skip angsty bits? I mean, it's 40 eps, it can't be wall-to-wall angst, not even in a cdrama :P

Omg Mike He is ridiculously gorgeous in the MV. I wish more Asian dramas were set around the 1920's-1930's. I was interested in watching Last Night Of Madame Chin with Vic Zhou but it seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth.

Bad Guy is so good so far and you get a messed up OT3 along with a lot of intrigue and sexiness. Five episodes are subbed in amazing quality at Hulu: http://www.hulu.com/bad-boy

Thank you for BG tip!

See, this is a mainland-tw collab I could get behind. I've seen both female leads act the hell out of their roles in different dramas and movies, so yeah. Also, the subject matter is relevant to my interests.

Now, to find copies floating about...

I've seen it on youtube but not sure about dls.

I don't think Mike He will astound me with his acting but as long as his character is decently written, I don't care too much.

I'll find the .rmvb versions on some Chinese forum, they're just a pain to work with. Do you want the raws when I find them?

Mike He is ironically the one I'm worried about, in terms of acting. He can flip hair with the best of them, but I'm not sure he can do the subtlety. Then again, I just watched Lust.Caution, and anything ought to be better than Wang Leehom, so we'll see.

Raws would be great for capping purposes, thanks!

I agree with you re: Mike He. I think he did a good job in Love Contract playing against type (the drama itself was uneven but I will love it forever because it did introduce me to both him and Ariel Lin outside their comfort zone and also because it holds the record for the amount of crying I ever did in a drama). But I don't think he is a good actor generally (even if he had any potential, he never developed it much).

This said, he is very pretty and very charismatic and the camera loves him. I am not someone who is too fussed about acting as long as there is no mugging and as long as the writing is good - if the writing makes the character interesting, I can deal without amazingness on the actor's part (I only require good acting when the writing is not there, so the actor has to cover the holes). I mean, good writing + good acting = perfect combo, but I usually am fine if only one is present.
