Various drama thoughts

I continue to be boggled by the fact that there are less than 4 weeks until the premiere of Kim Sun Ah's I Am Legend (about girl-rockers, not zombie-fighters :P) and yet the drama still has not cast its leading man. That is beyond bizarre (unless they plan to have an all-girl drama with no romance which, while interesting, would be a guaranteed ( Read more... )

Is it a nation of miserable clean people?

I think that this should be a slogan for something. Possibly on a T-shirt. Or maybe a series of K-drama macros.

LOL. It is so very true though. In period dramas they replace this with angsty baths and bucket washing.

I mean, we all know dramas often film while airing, but this would be a whole nother level. and even the Korean drama industry isn't that crazy...right?

PSH=DELISH, with or without clothes and with or without angst.

That is weird. Usually dramas start filming six to four weeks before the first episode airs. I suppose they could make it an all girl drama, but even the smallest dramas have a hit of romance. I do know that beside Kim Sun Ah three other ladies have been added to the cast - that's the band, I guess. Hyun Jyu Ni (computer girl from IRIS), Jang Shin Young (of family drama the Road Home), and Hong Ji Min (City Hall).

Despite the fact that the script is described as the women using the band to work through their messy personal lives - no males have been casted. They need to cast KSA's ex-husband, new love interest, and maybe one or two more males for love interests for the other band members. And, yet. . .no males or even rumors of men in the cast ( ... )

Yeah, I've heard about BG being a M/T drama in august (though I would be surprised if they put it in the 9pm timeslot - that's their family-friendly hour so far and they had Pick the Stars, Oh My Lady, Coffee House and then...Bad Guy. One of these things is not like the other, one of these things does not belong :P)

There was a "prosecuting your own beloved father" plot in When Spring Comes- that was one of the major plot lines and I was very satisfied with the way it was handled there(Kim Nam Gil was that prosecutor!!!!!)- it looks like PP is going down the same root. I LIKE THAT.

I had to laugh when I saw the shower scene in PP!
I mean PSH has ssurely a line in each of his contracts where it says he has either:
- a shower scene (PP--Family Honor)
or, if Choson time:
- whoah! it's way too hot scene (Iljimae)
But I have to say it's nice too watch! This man is a torso!

Angst is rising in PP, and this is nice too!
I wonder if the couple In Woo/Hye Ri is doomed? Looks like that anyway! :-(

Heeeee, I like all those excuses to get PSH shirtless :)

I am sure IW/HR will end up together after much angst.
