1. I had a really long and complicated dream about the end of IRIS. Can you say 'obsessed?' Subs are out through ep 18 so I am debating whether to save them until this week's final eps so I know how it ends, or goble it now.

2. Someday reminded me of my Kim Min Joon love so next drama to check out is In-soon is pretty. Yeah, I know about the ( Read more... )

someday, iris, in-soon is pretty, youtube, doramas2, screencaps

OH GOD. Good luck with In-Soon. Seriously, if you decide to watch it, go in knowing that the whole point of the drama (convict gets placed back into society ) gets erased by the 8th episode I believe. I don't like to give up on dramas, I almost always watch until the very very end, but I had to stop at 8. It just got ridiculous. Like someone took two VERY DIFFERENT IDEAS and smooshed them together, but not smoothly at all. In very very jagged pieces.

Yes - doesn't she become a celebrity or something? I am willing to tolerate a lot in a drama that gives me Kim Min Joon as a male lead (and a bonus hotness of Lee Wan - he's the only younger guy I go all obsessive-noona for :P).

But we'll see - I see a great deal of judicious ff-ing and I suppose at least I know the bipolarness going in - must have been jarring otherwise!

Yeah. She finds her celebrity mom who also has bipolar syndrome in whether or not she actually wants her. I liked the secondary OTP better (the sister and Lee Wan) but I didn't watch far enough to see it develop.

It was jarring! I was so in love with the concept which is probably why it hurt more that they didn't go through with it. I mean, it had so much angst potential! Girl goes to prison for killing another girl (if I remember correctly) and has to be re-integrated into society. Meets childhood friend who had a huge crush on her but doesn't know what happened. I mean, that's perfect! But then, it's like, WHOOP ERASE ERASE, LET'S MAKE HER INTO A CELEBRITY! NOW SHE'S FAMOUS! AND WE'VE COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN ABOUT HER PAST!

Ugh. I guess I'm still bitter.

That is bizarre. The only drama I've seen do such a weird switcheroo was Loveholic, which went from teacher-student love affair, ooooh, forbidden, he has awful home life etc etc. to "she runs a restaurant and he's a former prisoner" somewhere between eps 5 and 6. I ended up enjoying Loveholic but that was freaky as heck. (Also, after eps 1-5 it was on track in my top 10, and then by the end it was in the "I liked it but no way is it going into faves" category).

In-soon is pretty: I wonder what you'd think of this one. It is totally OTT - might be your thing. I am not sure how the main herouine will fare with you, though. She is very "I am the lowest of the lowest". And then the celebrity thing is totally odd.

I loved the secondary couple, though. lee Wan - I lurve you!

I'll see how Insoon goes - I love Lee Wan and KMJ but yeah, I've heard it's problematic. Oh well, if I don't like it, I can always stop.
