I have just started Strawberry on the Shortcake and I have only one thing to say - am I going insane or is the (male) student who's been held back a couple of years and the (female) guidance counsellor a secret couple?

I mean, I knew about stepsiblings-in-love but I didn't know about this. Ahhh, Japan, how you spoil me.

I couldn't finish the drama off (for various reasons - which is crazy 'cos this is Takki, Fukakyon AND Yosuke) but from what i recall he kept trying it on but it didn't happen.

Or i could be completely wrong.

As I recall, and this is spoiler-y - he stayed in school (purposely failing) to be near her. She's got a dead/left boyfriend or husband or something, so she doesn't want to get close. Then she does, then she doesn't. And, she is the only character I really just could not like.

Heh, she's the only character I could like. Some of her pushing him away was down to the interference of a certain party, so I forgave her for that.

Yes they are a secret couple. I watched it to the end and ended up hating the vast majority of the characters except I think for the guidance counsellor. I really, really, really wanted to kill the step sister. Seriously. And the less said about the wimp of a stepbrother the better.

I think I finished that entire drama, but I'm struggling to remember the ending now... oh well, looking forward to hearing about what you have to say. :)
