Yeah, it's a little odd. I do like that he's the winner after the Finnish ex-president but our ex-prez had a long career of diplomacy all over the friggin' world.

To be honest I feel like, "poor guy as if the pressures weren't high enough already, now he has this to live up to!".

But yeah I agree. I love Obama and I would love to see him win, but this seems like it should happened in a couple years. As if he doesn't have enough people pointing out that he hasn't saved the entire world yet, this, i'm sure, will give the talking heads lots and lots of easy talk time. =\

As much as I like the guy and appreciate what he's trying to do (and that he's NOT BUSH!), this seems premature to the point of being unhelpful to his endeavors. Still, I want to be pleased...

Maybe there just weren't many options this year :-(
