I wonder whether Lauren Willig has been replaced by a clone in the middle of her Carnation series - all hail the Clone! That is the only way to explain it. The first book, Mystery of the Pink Carnation was plain bad. There is no other way to describe it. I tried Pink Carnation earlier this year. I read about a chapter and stopped was when the hero said something to the effect of "I change my mistresses as often as I change my cravats." Could have been bed sheets instead of cravats. Either way, it turned me off.

Someday sounds fun! And Bae Doona is a REALLY good actress from the one thing I saw her in (well her and her boobs). It's on NETFLIX? I'm a Blockbuster girl, I like the option to go in store, but I'll have to find out if Blockbuster has it.

I'm curious to hear they get better. I read Pink Carnation and was so bored with it I was flabbergasted to hear that there were not one but NUMEROUS sequels.
