Mmmm Lee Byung-hun.

I'm watching him in a movie I bought for like 3 dollars from Korea - from 1999, pretty sweet movie where he plays a teacher in a village and a girl in his class crushes on him - and it's making me consider watching some of the dramas he's done. I looked at your tags of some drama names I recognized. Would you say either All In or Beautiful Days are worth watching? (I'm going to assume he probably hasn't done a romantic comedy type drama but I could handle a bit of angst for the eyecandy. I kind of melted against my seat when seeing him in The Good The Bad the Weird.)

I like both BD and AI but don't know if either is your thing

BD is your classic korean melodrama (but with a happy ending!) He is an icy rich records producer from a very dysfunctional family (his father is a murderer, his mother is dead, his stepmother was daddy's mistress whom he married when mom was barely cold, his stepbro is a self-absorbed emo twit. The only one he cares for is his troubled young sister - it's awesome). She is a plucky orphan who is an artist and is very caring, steady and maternal, which is what he needs badly. I adore it, but it's all emo delicious melodrama.

I can't complain when I get this:

Thanks! I may stick to watching him in movies because I seem to be so ADD with kdramas nowadays and neither of those sound like my thing so I would probably hang in there for like 4-5 episodes and then stop watching. Though I have been interested in City Hall since some people on Bollywhat fangirled it. And Iris definitely looks promising..

Oh I know that one, Harmonium in My Memory, with the lovely Jeon Do-Yeon. Wow, that feels like a lifetime ago...

Whoa.. risqué poster. I dunno how the indian public will react to that... come on, if they get peeved over Richard Gere's kissing Shilpa Shetty on the lips, who knows how they'll be.

I bet Saif and Kareena do more than kiss in rl lol :)

But yeah, I bet this film is going to be controversial.

Pretty sure he gets tortured (that'd be a given), but the man @0:13-14 mark looks like JJH to me and I'm betting that part (0:12-14) is some sort of endurance training for HyunJoon & SaWoo. Btw, really not feeling JJH's slicked back hair look in the close-up shot (why, IRIS crew people, why?).

I've also read the woman @0:27 is actually Yu Min/Fueki Yuko (and not KTH as I thought--clearly I have problems remembering KTH's features), who's been cast as a Japanese agent.

October 14 cannot come soon enough.

How did people/you wait months for this? Almost wish I didn't get sucked into fangirl-ing. And really don't know how I'm going to stay unspoiled...

LOL. Indeed, what would a kdrama be without it (I think someone is also getting mistreated near the end, too, intercut with KSY).

I have been going insane for IRIS ever since I've heard it- it's torture (even if not of the shirtless variety) to wait!
