(It's funny, I can't help but picture him as Jae Bin from Last Scandal, taking on this tough-bad-guy role and then coming home to Sun Hee and the kids. AWWW. I know, I am insane).

Oh man, oh man, oh man, what a thought... And I FLOVE it. That's going to be my happy place whenever I get too anxious re: IRIS.

After an intense, suffocating chase, Hyun-jun succeeds in escaping and hiding out in a house. But later he is shockingly betrayed by his most trusted friend, Sa-woo.

Did you catch it in the BTS footage? (any one of the recent clips in the soompi postings got it.) Looks pretty awesome, and both LBH & JJH look d@mn good.

I really hope that the living hell they threw him into is more than losing his gig and potentially a girlfriend - that would be a pretty wimpy hell by kdrama standards, especially since he'll discover his girlfriend is alive as soon as he starts back in his old job.Not going to be terribly pleased either if SaWoo's primary motivation for betraying him was over a girl, but in which case, it's probably more ( ... )

Lest you think I'm getting too anxious about IRIS (and in answer to LBH-JJH working together)--

I'm very, very, very excited to see LBH, JJH, Kim Seung-Woo & Kim Young-Chul (the NSS deputy director) together on screen. That's an incredible group of leading actors--some of the best in the business--and not only are they charismatic & talented, but they're also professionals with healthy egos, ie. not easily rattled but no prima donnas either. And it's encouraging that KTH, KSY, 'TOP' realize it and try to live up to it.

IRIS has so much in its favor (great cast, experienced crew, impressive production values), all it needs is good writing, and we're set.

It really does have an amazing line-up. If the writing is half as good, we are set. I keep pinning my hopes on the fact that LBH wouldn't have come back to dramas (first time in 6 years, I think) if he wasn't sure the story and characters were going to be really good.

Re: IRIS followed by Chuno. If those both pan out as good, I think my wednesdays and thursdays will be booked solid for a good half a year. Yikes.

I just keep thinking about it and smiling.

It's funny, there aren't that many drama characters where I occasionally imagine what they are doing at the moment as if they were real, but Sun Hee and Jae Bin are two of them. It makes me smile just to think of it.

Did you catch it in the BTS footage?

Nope, not yet. Oooooh, plan for the evening!

SaWoo's primary motivation for betraying him was over a girl

I hope that won't be it - at least from the write-up it doesn't seem like it. I'd be a lot happier if he was a long-term member of that nasty secret group and that's why. Because no offense to Kim Tae Hee fans but come on!

I just got unbelievable excited for this. WHEN?!?!?!?!

Revenge story? LBH did it SO DAMN WELL in A Bittersweet Life (reminds me, I need to do a rewatch, that fight scene where he escapes from everyone? Awesome). I am an action whore, I love action movies and revenge action movies are my favorite. I'm actually hoping that the romance story isn't heavy; I'm looking forward to the interactions between LBH and his 'best friend' more. I had no idea this was even the storyline so yay! Am suitably hyped now.

This is coming in October, when My Fair Lady ends (YESSS! End sooner, MFL!)

There is an awesome trailer for it here:

I am also hoping romance isn't heavy and that the former friends story is the bigger one - for one, JJH is a hell of a better actor for interacting with lee Byung Hun than the leading lady (who is good at pretty and ornamental).

But going from past dramas by these TPTB romance will be pretty secondary.

This is going to be so good!

Seeing my mad love for JJH and LBH and my dislike of the leading lady Kim Tae Hee, I am hoping the two guys reconcile their differences and ride off together into sunset :D

But she was the lead of Nine-Tailed Fox! And she's Lee Wan's brother. Mmm, good genes in that family.

...Yes, she's Lee Wan's brother, I said. XD

LOLOL.

She was very very pretty in NTF which I like, but she isn't the world's best actress - not that she needed to be in a drama which required her to stab people while fetchingly wearing a mask. I am worried she'll fade into wallpaper with IRIS' cast. Oh well, we'll see. The sexy badass lady assassin will compensate even if KTH won't pan out well.

I 'm not making any more fangirling comments on IRIS because honestly I might explode with the wait.

Is it october yet? :o

I know - eternal friendship and brotherhood definitely mean doom if you are in a drama.

Lucky Kim Tae Hee, I'd LOVE to be in the middle of THAT brotherly sandwich. A-hem.
