Back into jdrama fold

I haven't been watching any jdramas lately, but am about to do 4 at a time.

In addition to catching up with subbed eps of Otomen and Smile, I have decided to check out Buzzer Beat as it seems sweet and has Yamapi:

And Orthros No Inu because it seems very anime in its concept of two very different men with godlike powers and because it stars ( Read more... )

BB is SOOOOOOOOOO CUTE AND SWEET. I think you'll like it. Also, that lame kiss at the end? There's an even better one later on. >_>;;

As for Otomen, more subs have come out?! :O

Finally, i can reply to your posts now that you are watching some Jdramas. as you know, i have no idea what is going on in Kdrama world.
ok, I watching BB and as it said above is sooooo sweet and getting even sweeter. just watch out for evil saki.
Orthrus no Inu, i am watching it because i love to watch fine looking Takky but i have to say this drama only got better after ep5. but i really love the story.
I also think you should check out Ninkyo Helper which i think one of the best dramas this season.
looking forward to read what you think

It is about abunch of Yakuza men and a womam starting to work in elderly care centre in order to get to their one and only goal which is getting the leadership of whole Yakuza in the area. and you will see how they react to diffrent day to day problems in that place. i just love it

as it seems sweet and has Yamapi the only reasons a girl could ever need;) I'll be keeping an eye on yoru posts as I feel the need for a jdrama. I think uisceros said it was not great but had delicious fanservice.

It doesn't look like a masterpiece but as long as it's sweet, I am there.

I've fallen badly behind on BB since I've seen only the first episode, but it did look very sweet and like a fun Summer drama.

OnI has a lot of plotholes and Nishikido Ryo and Mizukawa Asami seem lost most of the time (and their characters aren't that well written). But Takki is delicious as the mysterious dark character :). Like someone else already commented, the story does seem to get going a little better around episode 5.

p.s. Have you thought of checking out Nagase Tomoya's spy drama Karei Naru Spy? Only two episodes have been subbed thus far, and based on the first episode it looks like silly fun reminiscent of the Austin Powers movies, James Bond and Maxwell Smart.

KNS sounds cute but lack of subs is worrying and I am generally not big on goofy dramas - the humor ends up never working for me. I'll check it out one of these days because of Nagase though.

Yes, subs for KNS have been coming out pretty slow (ep.2 subs were only released yesterday). The funny thing is that Querbeen is also subbing OnI and that has subs coming out really fast. Probably helps that the main translator is a Takki fan :D...

Yeah, QB is also subbing Otomen but nothing on that front yet - but I can't blame the gal for her priorities :)
