wow, I must say my dear, you have far more violent reactions to drama leads than I do:) I remember thinking Hwan was a bastard of the first order, even for kdrama, but it didn't spark me to Instarage or anything because I knew he'd be changed. Although I do remember that my point of highest anger with him at that point was when he tripped her then smashed her phone.
You know, in some ways it's a much better Korean take on Boys over Flowers than the kdrama adaptation of BOF itself was. Hwan is certainly more of a Domyouji that poor Jun Pyo was ever allowed to be I agree completely:)
I watched for Junse in the beginning and I now I am watching for Hwan.
Hwan just grows up and it is wonderful to watch. It takes a while but completely satisfying when you see it. Cause you see, it is not some miraculous change because one day he realizes he likes Eun Sung but Hwan learns his lessons.
I love how they don't makes excuses for his behavior. Even his history with dad. He is just young, foolish, and spoiled, but good at heart.
He WAS such a little snot. Keep watching though. He really does transform into a better person and dammit, he gets to be so freaking adorable!

Oh definitely. If they could have made Jandi half as strong a character as Eun Sung, I wouldn't have ended up so frustrated with that drama. But then, Jun Pyo would still be a douche, so maybe not.

And yeah, the character development so far (am on ep 7) is excellent, not just for Hwan but everyone.

I find Hwan the most interesting though, just because I am curious how he will change.
