I love Mei-chan with a fiery burning passion, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. Think Hana Kimi, except with more rich people. And the hot guys attend to your every whim...

But it's fabulous if you go in not expecting it to be realistic in ANY WAY IMAGINABLE.

Oh God, I loathed Hana Kimi. Let's hope I like this better (actually, since HK is probably the least fave jdrama of all I have ever seen, that wouldn't be hard).

I liked Hana Kimi a lot, but I think a lot of that changed after I watched the Taiwanese version, which is better.

I have a strange thing for the cracktastic jdramas though, so my view is definitely skewed.

If you liked Hana-Kimi, then you'll probably like this too. Maybe more, maybe less, but you'll like it.

...sadly, I didn't like Hana-Kimi, and while I loved this at first, it ended up kind of being crap to me near the end. XD;; I think I've talked about it in your journal before, lol.

I didn't care for Hana Kimi - I like the manga and thought they butchered it. Even if Oguri Shun was born to play Sano (he is just like a more outgoing Rui!) and Maki was born to play Ashiya. GRRRR. Thw writer/director just murdered it.

I actually adored this show if only for the fact that it is pure, sugary, bubble headed fun. And SPOILER ep. 2 has a super cool cage match involving evening wear and fencing END SPOILER. Its scenes like that that give it a seal of awesome from me.

I thought Hiro was adequately attractive in Hana Kimi and then very attractive in Zettai Kareshi.

It was the youtube video of him speaking English (he speaks English PERFECTLY) to a little boy that blew him over to heartthrob status. That and his love (and adorable pictures!) with dogs.

He spent 6 years in Switzerland, where he went to an International school, so he learned english there! You should watch the videos of him speaking english, it's pretty hot...

It's near the beginning of this video. It's adorable because he's teaching a little kid. Apparently Hiro went to school in Switzerland when he was a kid. There's another video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0JE3D_W7cY) but you can hear a hint of an accent (BARELY but I can still hear a little of it).
